These individuals are rejoicing over a atrocity that humanitarian officials suspect claimed the lives of over thousands of people in the African metropolis of el-Fasher last month.

A City Cut Off from the World

Having held the city under siege for nearly 24 months, from the summer the RSF moved to consolidate its dominance and restrict the leftover civilian population.
